Terms of Service.

Senkei is an AI-powered job application tool. You provide your work history, projects, and career material. Senkei analyses that material and generates tailored resumes and cover letters matched to specific job roles you want to apply for.

By using Senkei you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the product.

These terms apply to senkei.app and any related services we provide. They are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

You need an account to use Senkei. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in link secure and for everything that happens under your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating your profile. You must be at least 16 years old to use Senkei.

One account per person. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their knowledge and consent.

You may use Senkei to:

• Build a profile from your genuine work history, education, and projects
• Generate resumes and cover letters for roles you are genuinely applying for
• Review, edit, and export generated documents for your own job search
• Track your applications within the product

You may not use Senkei to:

• Misrepresent your qualifications — fabricating experience, credentials, or skills you do not have
• Deceive employers — submitting applications that materially misrepresent who you are or what you have done
• Generate applications on behalf of others — using your account to produce documents for people other than yourself
• Spam employers — using Senkei to submit bulk or automated applications without genuine intent
• Reverse engineer the product — attempting to extract, copy, or replicate Senkei's underlying systems or prompts
• Abuse the free tier — creating multiple accounts to circumvent application limits
• Upload harmful content — including malware, illegal content, or content that violates third-party rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

Senkei uses artificial intelligence to generate resumes and cover letters based on the material you provide. This is the core of what the product does.

You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before submitting it to an employer. AI-generated output can contain errors, omissions, or phrasing that does not accurately reflect your experience. Always read what Senkei produces before sending it.

Senkei is not liable for the accuracy of generated documents, for the outcome of any job application, or for any decision made by an employer based on content produced by the product.

The quality of Senkei's output depends directly on the quality and accuracy of the material you provide. Garbage in, garbage out. Provide real, accurate information and the output will reflect it.

Your contentYou own everything you upload to Senkei — your CV, project notes, work history, and all other career material. You also own the resumes and cover letters Senkei generates for you. We do not claim any rights over your content or your documents.

Senkei's productThe Senkei product, interface, underlying systems, and brand are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the product without our written permission.

FeedbackIf you share feedback or suggestions about Senkei, we may use that feedback to improve the product without any obligation to you.

Senkei currently offers 3 free applications to new users. No credit card is required to start. Free applications are per account — creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free applications is a violation of these terms.

We reserve the right to introduce paid plans, change free tier limits, or modify what is included at any tier. We will give reasonable notice before making changes that affect existing users.

Senkei is provided as-is. We do not guarantee that the product will be available at all times, that output will be error-free, or that using Senkei will result in successful job applications.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Senkei is not liable for:

• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated documents
• Outcomes of job applications made using Senkei
• Loss of data due to technical failures
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the product

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.

You can delete your account at any time. We will delete your data within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the product, or engage in behaviour that harms other users or the integrity of the service. We will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

We may discontinue Senkei or specific features of it with reasonable notice. If we shut down the product entirely we will give users sufficient time to export their data.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes — particularly to liability, ownership, or acceptable use — we will notify you by email before the changes take effect.

Continuing to use Senkei after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The date at the top of this page reflects when the terms were last updated.
